How do I get the beta?
Email the address above and you'll get an invite — Android via a Play Console testing track, iOS via TestFlight.
Where is my trip data stored?
On your device only. There's no account and no server holding your itinerary — see the privacy policy for the full picture, including the small, opt-in analytics event set.
A map handoff opened the wrong app or the wrong place
Long-press the map/directions button on that place to pick a different map app just for that one action, or change your default in Settings. If the location itself is wrong, use "Confirm location" on that place to re-verify it.
Can I export my trip to share it?
Yes — trips export as a JSON file you can send to anyone else running Maptinerary, who can import it as a brand-new trip without touching whatever they already have.
Something crashed or looked wrong
Settings → Export diagnostics gives you a local log of recent app events (no itinerary content) — attach it to your email and it'll help track down what happened.
